隨著北京大興區(qū)城市化進程加速，產業(yè)發(fā)展蓬勃興起，居民和就業(yè)人口集聚，原有的火神廟商業(yè)中心已承載不了周邊居民的需求。JERDE堅持的“場所創(chuàng)造”理念，結合該區(qū)域高頻日常生活需求，以餐飲、休閑、娛樂、社交、家庭、親子等生活類業(yè)態(tài)和零售類業(yè)態(tài)為主，在滿足消費者逐漸升級的物質和精神的需求的前提下，從“城市更新、塑造文化、復興城區(qū)商業(yè)”等多維度，對火神廟商業(yè)中心進行了改造，打造出一個真正貼近生活的時尚生活中心。

項目原場地上的火神廟作為國家文物建筑被保留下來，至今，周邊居民保持著定期來祈愿的傳統，它寄托著人們的希望。JERDE將這一傳統文化與“希望與光”的抽象概念相結合，并融入設計方案中?！盁艋\”是傳統文化中承載光明及指引希望的象征，為了沿襲這份獨特的文化元素，JERDE的改造設計以“燈籠”為主題，這一設計留住了都市生活中的“人情味”和“煙火氣”，如同火神廟帶給人們一份寄托和希望一樣。

As the urbanization process accelerates in Beijing's Daxing District, industrial development is thriving, and the population of residents and workers is rapidly increasing. The existing Huoshen Temple Commercial Center can no longer meet the needs of the surrounding residents. JERDE, adhering to the "Placemaking" concept, has transformed the Huoshen Temple Commercial Center, focusing on daily high-frequency needs of the area. The new design prioritizes dining, leisure, entertainment, social activities, family, and parent-child activities, as well as retail sectors, addressing the evolving material and spiritual needs of consumers. The renovation aims at urban renewal, cultural shaping, and the revitalization of the downtown commercial area, creating a truly life-oriented and stylish lifestyle center.

The fire Temple on the original site of the project has been preserved as a national cultural relic building. Until now, the surrounding residents have maintained the tradition of praying regularly, which is the hope of people. JERDE combined this traditional culture with the abstract concept of "hope and light" and integrated it into the design scheme. "Lantern" is a symbol of light and hope in traditional culture. In order to follow this unique cultural element, JERDE's renovation design takes "lantern" as the theme. This design retains the "human touch" and "fireworks" in urban life, just like the fire temple brings people sustenance and hope.
